Creating a Device Type:Area in Evolve
Open Evolve
Login
Select the Service Order
Select the Log tab
Scroll down to Inspection and select it.
Select the desired area such as Interior
Select the desired subarea such as 1st floor.
Select the barcode on the top right corner.
Scan the barcode you would like to assign the area to.
Select “Yes” when the prompt “Barcode Not Found” appears on the screen.
Select the Type
Search for and select Area in Device Type.
Type in the name of the area such as “1st Floor Men’s Restrooms”
Add a location description such as “Barcode is on the door frame to the door used to enter the restroom”
Select Save on the top right corner.
Select “No” to the question, “Is there visible activity?”
Select the back arrow on the top left corner.
Review area.
